Jarden employees donate $10,000 to McMinnville charity

MCMINNVILLE – Jarden Consumer Solutions (JCS) recently announced that its employee-supported JCS community fund donated $10,000 to a local charity in the fourth quarter of 2015.

Warren County Home Delivery Meals Inc. will use the funds to help the elderly and handicapped maintain their independence by providing a hot or frozen meal up to seven days a week.

JCS community fund is committed to providing essential services and opportunities to at-risk youth, women and families in communities where JCS employees live and work. More than $6 million has been donated across the country since its creation in 2004.

“Through the JCS Community Fund, our employees are able to give back,” said Rocki Rockingham, administrator, JCS community fund. “Over the years, their contributions have helped strengthen those communities and made a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.”
