COOKEVILLE Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is opening a new urgent care clinic.

The Cookeville Regional Urgent Care Clinic is set to open Monday, Sept. 19, at 201 W. Fifth St. in Cookeville, just one block from the hospital in the building formerly known as Quality Medical Center.

Services will include walk-in care for minor injuries and illnesses, prevention and wellness care, DOT physicals, sports physicals, and more with extended and weekend hours. Lab services will be available on-site.

Roy Anderson, M.D., an internist, will continue to see patients at the clinic along with nurse practitioners Maggie Bullock, FNP-C; Maria Thomas, FNP-C; and Emily Gentry, FNP-C. Most insurance will be accepted including Medicare, Medicaid and TennCare.

The clinic will be open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sundays. For more information, call (931) 783-5353.
