Livingston manufacturer hiring at job fair Wednesday

LIVINGSTON – The Tennessee Career Center at Cookeville and Hutchinson FTS are hosting the Hutchinson FTS job fair Wednesday at 315 Airport Road, Livingston. Hutchinson FTS will be taking resumes and applications from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. for the following positions:

2nd shift supervisor, production—Minimum of three years experience in supervisory, leadership capacity; working knowledge of blueprint reading nn and SPC; strong computer skills and working knowledge of related software programs.

CMM operator — High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to proficiently use calipers, micrometer and other measuring instruments; basic math skills required; must be able to achieve minimum of 70 percent on placement scoring; must be capable of successfully passing blueprint, GDT training.

Facilities/maintenance manager—Four-year technical degree level of knowledge/minimum six years experience in metal fabrication machining/forming; four years of supervisory experience.

VSM engineer (value stream engineer) — Three to five years of management/supervisory experience; bachelor’s degree or equivalent; background in manufacturing, PC skills.

2nd shift maintenance technician — Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and manage the PM system.

Quality auditor — High school diploma or GED; must be able to read blueprints, be analytical, and understand and use SPC, computer skills.

Truck driver (must have Class A CDL) — High school diploma or GED.

3rd shift PM technician — High school diploma or GED; knowledge of technical/machine skills.

Materials specialist — High school diploma or GED; strong math skills required.

Quality engineer — Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
