New CRMC surgeon to offer free community seminar

COOKEVILLE – Dr. Charles T. Huddleston, general and bariatric surgeon at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, will present a pair of free community seminars about the bariatric surgery options now available at CRMC. The seminars will be held from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, and Tuesday, Aug. 21, at the CRMC Education Center.

Huddleston recently relocated to the Upper Cumberland from Tullahoma and will be practicing the full spectrum of general surgery with a special interest in advanced laparoscopic cases, including laparoscopic gastric banding (lap band) and sleeve gastrectomy, bariatric and metabolic surgery.

Anyone interested in learning more about surgical options for weight loss is encouraged to attend. Seating is limited; call the CRMC Education Center at (931) 783-2587 to make a reservation.
