The Progressive Savings Bank/Upper Cumberland Business Journal Small Business of the Month for March is World Foods International Grocery and Delicatessen. World Foods is located on Cookeville’s historic West Side. Started by Al and Sharon Defosche, World Foods has been specializing in pizza and sandwiches with flavors from around the world since 1999. Current owners, Bill Hedderick and Johnathan McCauley, have stayed true to the restaurant’s original integrity and quality, simply adding a few menu items along the way. World Foods is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday-Saturday with foods for sit down dining or take out. You can also order home fresh meats and cheeses by the pound from the deli.
