NASHVILLE – For the second year in a row, Wilson Bank & Trust has been recognized as one of the top workplaces in Middle Tennessee.

Sponsored by The Tennessean, the Top Workplaces award is based on the results of an employee feedback survey. Wilson Bank ranked second in the category for large companies based on 2016 scores, improving on a top-five finish last year. A faith-based, family-friendly culture was once again a major factor cited in the employee feedback that led to WB&T’s award.

Wilson Bank & Trust currently operates 25 full-service offices in eight Middle Tennessee counties, including Putnam, DeKalb and Smith in the Upper Cumberland. Its Cookeville office opened most recently at the beginning of 2016.

“Being recognized again based on the input of our own employees is not only a tremendous honor, but a great indicator for our organization,” WB&T Executive Vice President John McDearman said. “Our culture is one you don’t come across every day, and having great people inside the bank is crucial to serving our customers and communities at the highest level.”
