TSBDC to offer free business upstart seminar

COOKEVILLE – Have you dreamed of owning your own business? Do you want to be your own boss? Do you have a great idea you want to share with the world?

An upcoming free seminar, offered by the Tennessee Small Business Development Center and titled “Is Starting a Business for You?” will tackle topics of interest for individuals considering starting a business, said director Jen Dangelo. 
The seminar will cover what personality traits make good entrepreneurs, building a support team, integrating business ownership with your life, business startup basics, business structures, challenges for startups, business planning, cash needs, financing options and more.

Led by John Woodard, assistant director at the Tennessee Small Business Development Center, the seminar is scheduled for 5–8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the TTU Regions Building at 10 W. Broad St. in Cookeville.
